🌸 WHAT KIND OF FLOWERS AND GREENERY WILL I GET WITH MY ORDER?

Each bucket contains 50 stems of the freshest, most gorgeous flowers and greenery in our field — based on your color palette.

We provide a mix of focal flowers, filler/supporting flowers, and everything in between so you can create the most stunning display.

We are wedding florists, so you can trust you will receive exactly what you need. This is a special aspect of Heirloom Soul Florals… we harvest what we would use to create your event flowers. We’ve flowered hundreds of weddings and you benefit from our experience.

Each month throughout the growing season, the flower selection changes as new plants ripen in the field. Please note, PEONIES bloom in early June only. DAHLIAS generally bloom from late August thru mid-October (every year is different and largely out of our control).

🌸 WILL THE FLOWERS STAY FRESH FOR MY EVENT?

Yes! We would not offer this service if we were concerned about flowers wilting and dying before your event. Our flowers and greens are harvested the day before your pickup day and are the freshest flowers you can possibly find. Upon pickup, flowers are fully hydrated and ready for you to use.

We harvest your flowers directly into sanitized buckets so they are only touched once. All varieties of flowers and greenery last for different amounts of time after cutting, but we aim to provide you with the hardiest blooms in our field that will last at least a few days after your event if properly cared for. We are often told our flowers lasted a week or more after they were needed.

🌸 WHERE SHOULD I KEEP MY FLOWERS? DO I NEED A FLORAL COOLER?

We recommend simply keeping your flowers in an air conditioned room, out of direct sunlight. In cooler months, you may keep your flowers in a garage but they must NOT be allowed to freeze.

A floral cooler is not required, and in fact, we advise against putting your flowers in a refrigerator because the temperature may be too cold and/or ethylene from food items may make the flowers perish sooner.

🌸 WHEN AND WHERE DO I PICK UP MY BULK ORDER?

Your flower and greenery buckets will be available to pick up the day before your event — we will coordinate a time together. You, and/or a designated helper, will pickup your flowers from our home studio in the City of Lockport. Please note, floral orders are NOT picked up at our farm.

Floral buckets are included and we will help load up your vehicle to make sure everything is secure! We provide pick up instructions beforehand, via email.

🌸 CAN I COME TO THE FARM TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE?

Our farm is not open to the public. We do not offer one-off visits for you to come look at the flowers; however, we do host events on the farm here and there, and you are more than welcome to sign up for one of our events where you’ll also be able to walk around the farm and enjoy the floral views!

During the season, we post lots of current flower pictures in our Instagram Stories. Follow us on IG for the most up-to-date photos.

🌸 HOW DO I KNOW IF BULK FLOWERS ARE RIGHT FOR ME?

While the cost savings are great, DIY wedding flowers are a lot of work (hence the reason why florists charge so much for floral design). You will need willing helpers and enough time the day before your wedding to get everything done, along with other peoples’ help on your wedding day to set it all up. If you are a creative person who loves making things, or if you have other people who are willing to do the flowers for you, then this is a great option!

On the other hand, if you have a specific vision of a huge, professionally-designed floral display with very specific flower types, and you tend to be picky (which is totally okay — good for you for knowing what you want!) then I would say you should hire a florist to help make your wedding flower dreams come true.

Compared to imported flowers, our flowers are…

• 100% CHEMICAL-FREE and safe for handling

• ❤️ OUR FLOWERS COME FULLY PREPPED, READY FOR IMMEDIATE USE! This means: No boxes nor plastic. Leaves are stripped. Stems are fully hydrated and ready to go. What a dream!

• Fresh as flowers can be! (They haven’t been packed in boxes and flown in planes across the globe). We are often told our flowers last a week or more after they’re needed.

• Grown and distributed locally to our community only… it’s a special thing!

• Unique, fragrant, impressive varieties of flowers and greenery you cannot get anywhere else

• When you order our flowers, you support a healthy, thriving ecosystem for wildlife, including endangered pollinators, wild animals, and native plants. This part of our work is SO important and we wouldn’t be able to keep it up without selling flowers in bulk. So thank you, from us and earth.

“I ordered two buckets of bulk flowers at Heirloom Soul Florals to make my own arrangements for an event. They turned out absolutely beautiful, we had so many compliments on how they were the most beautiful flowers anyone has ever seen! The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and lasted almost a full two weeks. Fran, the owner, clearly pours so much love and knowledge into everything she grows. She’s truly a dahlia genius! Her dahlias are the most stunning I’ve ever seen […] I Highly recommend supporting this local gem!” - Hannah, Google Review 2025

“We had such an amazing experience using heirloom soul florals! We ordered 7 petal buckets and 5 stem buckets. Firstly, the flowers were absolutely stunning! We gave a color scheme and Fran absolutely came through! I was so happy with our order. We arranged all the bouquets and center pieces by hand which made our day that much more special. I cannot recommend enough ordering through heirloom soul florals for any occasion.” - Kaela, Google Review 2025

“I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Fran for our wedding[…] We opted for her a la carte [and bulk] option and were thrilled with the outcome[…] I added items to my order twice between putting down our initial and final payments, and Fran handled the additions with grace and enthusiasm. It's great that you have the option to add items, especially if you are planning/setting up your decorations yourself and additional needs pop up along the way!

The color scheme we provided to Fran was sunset colors, and she absolutely nailed it.

I can't recommend Fran enough for your wedding florals. They were one of my favorite details of our beautiful day, and Fran was an absolute delight to work with. She is so responsive, kind, and skilled at what she does. If you are local and plan to get married in the area, [she] is a no-brainer for impeccable florals at a very reasonable cost.” - Elizabeth, Google Review 2025

“I ordered bulk flowers to be grown especially for my sister’s wedding shower, and they turned out beyond beautiful! Every bloom was vibrant, fresh, and perfectly timed — you could tell they were grown with so much care and attention. The colors tied in perfectly with our theme, and the arrangements looked straight out of a magazine.

Working with Fran was a dream — so responsive, kind, and clearly passionate [...] The flowers not only looked incredible but lasted days after the event, filling the whole space (and our homes afterward!) with the most gorgeous scent.

I can’t recommend Heirloom Soul Florals (and Fran) highly enough — if you want flowers that truly wow and a woman that makes the process easy and joyful, this is the place to go. They helped make my sister’s shower feel magical.” - Rachel, Google Review, 2025
